Hello!! I am Mommy Mar (or just big-armed-mar on most platforms). You can just call me Mar for short!! i just wanted to make a quick introduction post since it seems I may end up using this site a little more.



I am a digital artist and webcomic creator. I have 3 birds and I live in the US. (Although, little fun fact here. I was born in Germany!!)



I am 17, she/him



I like:




  • Drawing!!

  • Comics!!

  • Birds (specifically parrots)

  • journaling

  • mysteries

  • romances (although I remain single pretty much indefinately for personal reasons)

  • and more!!



As mentioned before, I am an artist!!



Although I often just refer to myself as a digital artist, I also tend to dabble in traditional works as well!! Mainly just my sketchbook irl.



My materials and tools for art!!(that I wholeheartedly reccomend!!):


Traditional Art (Sketches, mainly)



  • Pentalic ILLUSTRATOR Journal 5in. x 8in. 192 pages!!(Favorite sketchbook!!)

  • Pencils: Papermate Handwriting #2 mechanical pencil, ZEBRA DelGuard 0.5 mechanical pencil, Sakura SumoGrip 0.9 mechanical pencil

  • Erasers: Any will do, but a personal favorite of mine is the General Tri Tip eraser, its in a triangle shape. Easy to hold!! Ive been using this brand for years.

  • Inks: Japanese Zebra Brush Pens. Ive been having a lot of fun using these recently!!

  • Markers: Ohuhu Marker 148(?) set!!


      • Digital Art!!:



      • iPad Pro 12.9 inch 2023 M2 (Any ipad that runs procreate will probably work about the same!!)

      • Apple pencil (or a general stylus)

      • Drawing glove (covers the bottom side of my hand (think like having graphite on the bottom of your hand after drawing with pencil a lot) It protects the screen and overall provides a much more comfortable drawing experience!!)

      • If you'd like a post detailing what brushes I use, please let me know!! I'd love to make a post providing what brushes I use and where from if someone wants it.

      • alternatively, if someone wants a post detailing my art process, id love to make one! just ask :P

      Rendered Cav Illustration I did!!


      Digitally fully rendered illustration of my OC Cav from my webcomic FamilyWeb. Cav(blue “skin” dark blue hair, 8 red eyes (but only 4 eyes in the picture) The left side of his face has a chunk missing and out if it flowers are sprouting and butterflies are flying all around him. He’s holding is left hand up and the text next to him says “so long. . . Suckers. . .” Implying he’s leaving for a long time. His face has cracks in it and some cracks run through his 4 eyes, the other 4 are obscured by the hole in his face. He wears a white button up with a lab coat over it, with a bright red bow tie that matches his eyes, and he always wears gloves, he does not have pinkies.

      My OC Dr. Cavaticus from my webcomic, mysteriously looking off into the distance with his face facing away from the camera surrounded by bluesky butterflies. He has one on his hand. Maybe one day he’ll be able to appreciate the beauty of butterflies without the emotional baggage that he carries around? (made in particpation for #OCskybutterflies)(posted 8/15/24)

      MiniMar Grunkle Stan!!


      Digital illustration of my persona (minimar. Pale skin red hair huge round eyes) dressed as grunkle Stan from Gravity falls. She sits on an invisible surface with one leg up and one leg down while holding a 12 ball cane in her right hand. Using her other hand to support herself on the invisible bench. She smiles at the camera.

      I am also a webcomic creator!!


      I create the webcomic FamilyWeb!! It updates every other Friday. I have big plans for the plot of this thing, and this project in general. I'm very excited and I really love these characters



      Remember Cav from the previous artworks? Hes in the comic too (or atleast he will be soon, we haven't gotten to that part yet :((
